ON Mother's Day, she accepted the suggestion to do a feet washing rite for her mum.
At the beginning, she thought: this is nothing, I have cared for her for many years, just a fancy idea.
Both she and her mother wept when she started washing, such simple action has touched them both and triggered an eruption of emotions. It has profound significant, beyond her expectation. And she would love to do it regularly, to become more filial to her mother, and more aware of the emotional aspects of a typical Chinese mother-daughter relationship.
